I was grateful to be the Secretary General and co-founder of the worlds largest yoga sports federation. As the governing body for yoga sports, IYSF is responsible for growing the sport while providing a fair field of play for athletes everywhere. We created and worked with fantastics teams to uphold our platform, UNITY THROUGH SPORT, in every step the federation took.

For those of you who don’t know, I made the 2008 Olympic Team with the assistance of one of the most impactful cross training tools – hot yoga. It was in the 105˚ room that I learned self-acceptance, balanced my spirit, and increased my physical fitness. I believe every human being should do some form of yoga. The IYSF is a sports movement with its roots grounded in one simple philosophy – do more yoga.

One of my featured projects within the federation was the overhaul of the website. Myself and a small team took the project under our wings and created a beautiful and impactful website dedicated to all things yoga sports. We currently are a central hub for the yoga sports community and continue to expand worldwide with www.iysf.org at the core of the movement.
